To Whom it May Concern So you want to sell your house. After attending to all those little maintenance jobs, the overdue garage sale, separating the kids from their old toys, having the garden look beautiful and the grass green, one can stand back and feel ready for the sale. However, the next two steps of deciding your asking price and chosing a real estate agent are crucial in the selling process. Since most buyers are already looking in a particular area, sellers are best served by an agent with detailed knowledge. You need an agent who can get you the potential buyers who are capable of presenting you with a good offer. It is also important that your agent is a skilled negotiator in order to get the best possible offer for you. Pauline does not create unnecessary activity such as open inspections to drum up crowds of tire kickers but focuses on finding and screening potential buyers for you who are capable and willing to buy your house by private treaty, pauline is a skilled, no nonsense, negotiator with the highest integrity, honesty and capability to find that buyer for your house who is willing to pay the highest price. So who am I to comment on Pauline and her capabilities as a real estate agent? We lived for over a decade in Karana Downs and when we planned to sell our house we were under no doubt that Pauline would be our agent. We had carefully checked out local and regional agents in the years before when we were looking to buy another house in the area. Many agents we would happily buy from, as they were generally not acting in the best interest of the sellers. Some agents just wanted a quick sale to get their commission without much regard for the interest of the owners of the house. Pauline Hathaway in this regard stood head and shoulders above the rest as an agent, who strongly represented the seller's interest. Remember that after all it is you, the seller, who pays the commission to the real estate agent. Since the sale commission you will have to pay to any agent is about the same, you may as just as well get the best agent to work for you. Although our faith in Pauline was tested, as our house did not sell quickly we sold it with less than 2.5% difference from the initial asking price in a hassle free and courteous manner. Considering the above, I can highly recommend Pauline Hathaway as a real estate agent if you intend to sell your house. We still live locally and wouldn't hesitate to use Pauline's agency again.
